Ferguson updates recruiting

Former University of Kentucky commitment Dominique Ferguson committed to the Wildcats just over a year ago and then opted to re-open the recruiting process when the Wildcats changed coaches in April.

Ferguson is a top-20 prospect nationally and said he's been pleasantly surprised at the amount of interest he's picked up from schools since backing off his commitment.

"I'm liking all the attention," he said today at the adidas May Classic after a game in Assembly Hall. "I am getting a lot more attention than last time and I'm taking advantage of everything."

Ferguson listed Florida, Texas, UCLA, Arizona, Wake Forest, Louisville, DePaul, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee and Duke. He said he will attend Indiana's Elite Camp next month and is hoping to make visits to three schools off the following list: Florida, Texas, UCLA, Arizona sometime soon.

"I'm just taking my time and enjoying it all," he said.
